Weather Synopsis for Sunday night through Wednesday
There's a mix of developing cumulus clouds over the mountains, the stray mountain snow shower, and areas of high clouds that range from filtered sunshine to high overcast this afternoon. Clouds of all varieties will clear out this evening and any lingering showers should quickly wind down as well. Expect another cold night with mountain temperatures locally in the teens to even single digits through early Monday morning.
Monday should be a notch warmer than Sunday and definitely sunnier as weak upper level troughing remains over the area. This may drive a few afternoon cumulus clouds but unlike Saturday or Sunday, it won't be unstable enough to support afternoon showers. Winds will generally remain light out of the west.
The jet stream becomes aimed at central British Columbia Tuesday. This will drive the southern edge of a frontal system towards the north Cascades. Light rain and snow will develop along the Canadian border late Tuesday afternoon or evening and cause an increase in clouds for areas south. Areas on the southern fringe of the system like Mt. Hood will see more sun and warmer temperatures.

Extended Weather Synopsis for Wednesday night through Wednesday
The frontal system positioned to our north will sweep inland on Tuesday night, bringing a quick shot of precipitation as far south as the I-90 corridor and largely missing the south Washington Cascades and Mt. Hood. There will be a few leftover showers along the west slopes of the Cascades on Wednesday. A similar weather pattern will keep the next frontal system also to our north through at least Thursday afternoon. A slow warming trend will take place during the week with the highest freezing levels expected down near Mt. Hood each day.
