Weather Synopsis for Friday night through Sunday
The current stretch of dry, mild and mostly clear weather will continue through the weekend. Dry northerly flow aloft and light onshore flow will keep skies mostly clear through Saturday night. While freezing levels hover in the 5000'-7000' range through the weekend there are a few forecast nuances to talk about. Overnight low temperatures and freezing levels Friday night and Saturday morning should be slightly cooler than Friday. Expect temperature inversions and sub-freezing temperatures along lower slopes and in deeper valleys. Saturday night and Sunday morning will be the opposite scenario with milder temperatures expected at all elevations and little diurnal fluctuation in the freezing levels.
While Sunday will be dry and mild as well, we'll begin to see the first clues that the weather pattern is about to change. High clouds ahead of a developing frontal system will increase during the day as the weather system approaches from the NW. Expect winds to increase and skies to become high overcast later in the day.

Extended Weather Synopsis for Sunday night through Sunday
The frontal system will quickly drop south along the Washington Coast Sunday night with the cold front slow to pass inland early Monday morning. Snow levels will fall Sunday night and remain cool for the rest of the week. The associated cold upper low will be the dominant weather feature following the frontal passage as it hangs over the area through Tuesday. Shower activity will increase Monday afternoon and again Tuesday afternoon when daytime heating pairs with a cool unstable air mass. Light to moderate snow accumulations are expected over this period. An active weather pattern will through much of next week.
