Weather Synopsis for Monday & Saturday

840 AM Update for Crystal, Paradise, and White Pass cloud cover for Today

Upper level ridging over the Pacific Northwest will battle with a weak low pressure system off the Oregon coast the next two days. Today, warm frontal moisture should advance as far north as the Oregon/Washington border with high cloud coverage diminishing closer to the Canadian border. Mt. Hood is the only area likely to see measurable precipitation from this system. Offshore flow this time of year will have no cooling impact on the snow/freezing levels and freezing levels are expected to be on the mild side through this period. A very similar forecast should occur on Tuesday albeit with more mid and high clouds pushing north. A more active pattern is likely to develop later in the week.
