Northwest Snow & Avalanche Workshop
This annual workshop should be on every backcountry traveler's pre-season calendar. At the Northwest Snow and Avalanche Workshop (NSAW) you’ll hear from avalanche practitioners and researchers as they present on avalanche safety, snow and climate science, and technical innovations. Everyone, regardless of their experience, will walk away with new tools for the backcountry.
Going Deep
Join the Northwest Avalanche Center for our continuing education workshop series, Going Deep. Each workshop is an interactive experience that probes deeper into a specific topic designed to make you a better backcountry traveler. Come prepared to participate in hands-on exercises and take away valuable tools for your next backcountry outing. Each workshop is a stand-alone session - choose one that most interests you, or attend all three for a discounted price!
