Multiple large to very large avalanches from natural avalanche cycle Feb 2 - March 2. Early stage slab avalanches looked to have failed at a variety of interfaces from within new snow, to old/new interface to deeper crust-facet layers. Later loose wet to D2.5 followed with debris overrunning larger, partially buried debris from earlier in the cycle. Some crowns propagate horizontally 400-600' wide, others connected dissimilar terrain features. Debris below Hollenbecks(?) looks to have cornice chunks.
Specific crown locations include:
- Hollenbecks
- Dog Chute area
- Little/Mini AK
- 2x in Corner Pocket area
- Diamond
- SE of Herman Saddle
The longest one could have spanned up to 1000ft, running much of Table Mountain's length. Others were more localized at 50-100 feet wide. The 2/19 layer of SH/near surface facets may have been what these avalanches failed on.
