Large - Very Large (D2.5) avalanche found just below the ridgeline above Union Creek. The slope appeared to be heavily wind-loaded and a large cornice line guarded the ridgeline above it. Interestingly, I did not notice a failed cornice above the slab, but that doesn't rule out cornice fall as a potential trigger.
