Avalanche reported on 3/16 by the triggering party on the shoulder of Three Way Peak, just outside the ski resort. The party reported triggering the avalanche remotely from the ridgeline while they ascended the ridge on foot.
The avalanche ran down twoards FFF, and debris piles were big enough to bury a human.

At the crown, the avalanche failed on weak grains within the early march crust. There appeared to be several small step downs into other weak layers of this crust, but the avalanche did not step down or gouge below the early march layer.
