Observations
Access was still a problem at Gold Creek. Road was still closed on the Hyak side. Went to Kachess but lots of trees down so we rode Stampede Pass. Trees are cleared and they have started grooming. Off trail is a combination of wind hammered snow and ice with nice pockets of powder 12” deep here and there. No signs of instability but we’re not riding 35 degree slopes.
