Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Traveled from 3100 - 4800 ft. Up Kendall Stump and down Kendall trees. Difficult skinning with 3" of loose rimed / grauple grains sandwhiched in between surface zipper crust and mostly supportive/slick MF. @4800 ft HS 215cm . Distinct rise in temperature in the afternoon caused tree bombs and dripping from trees as well as warming snow surface. Skiing conditions were mostly difficult and variable with slick MF, uneven tree-bombed surface - occasional decent turns on 3"+ on top of supportive crust.
