Observations
Traveled on an east-facing slope between 2400' and 5200'. Air temps were warm but the snow surface remained unconsolidated with ski penetration ~30 cm. There was evidence of wind loading from the last storm on NE aspects at ridge top (cornice and stiff pockets). No avalanches were observed.
