Traveled primarily between 4000'-5200'. Surface faceting was observed on all aspects at all elevations. Quick hand sheers displayed a solid right side up snowpack and no obvious weak layers in the top 2'. Despite the cold temperatures we still observed pinwheeling and sloughing that gathered snow on sun exposed S-SW aspects.
