Observations

Traveled primarily in wind sheltered terrain and found right side up snow that didn't show any slab structure within the most recent storm snow. Found no results on small test slopes except for loose dry sloughs in very steep terrain. Found some small pillowy and denser snow on a sw aspect just lee of the ridge top around 5,000'. The top few inches were popping but was otherwise un-reactive or perhaps stubborn.

Dug a pit on a small nw facing micro feature on a SW facing slope. Found 89cm of storm snow well bonded to the 12/22 crust at this location. Moist snow below the crust. Found a grapple layer 66cm down. CT 22 Q3 down 54cm. ECTN 22 down 35cm.
