Car nearly buried by storm slab. 20” crown. Naturally triggered, possibly from pinecone blown on to roof. Bed surface was a standing seam metal roof, possibly lubricated by excessive furnace use.
We parked in a flat terrain trap, were not wearing our beacons, and had coffee without lids in our hands. A free lesson, a Christmas miracle.
