Observations

Found wind drifted snow and slab formation at the sub alpine band at 5k on SW slope at snoqualmie pass. Bond to freezing rain crust seemed descent and unreactive to skin track corner jumps or hasty pits. Snow today was largely graupel which could be an issue later. At 3k new snow on top of crust is about 4 inches in the trees and 8 inches + in the open. Above 4 k crust was not noticed while skiing and 1-2 feet deep depending on the spot with wind effects. Skin and ski tracks were refilling throughout the day.
