Observations

Chill tour to top of big trees, mostly with the goal of practicing digging pits and getting a sense of the state of the pack. Probably not the best location to dig a pit, but we found a right side up snow pack from F to P+. HS 220 (most definitely wind loaded from previous days), 10cm of recent storm snow, a clear layer 40cm down that failed at ECTP21 and CT15 Q2. Overcast skis, -5C air temps, and calm throughout the tour.
