Comments:
Watched a group of two ski a steep panel looker's right of one of the more prominent chutes (Martha's?) that seemed likely to be windloaded. The first skier ski cut and triggered a small avalanche in probably the upper 4" of snow which ran a few hundred feet down slope. They watched from the side as their partner center-punched the slope and triggered a deeper slab, estimated 1' crown which carried them a hundred feet or so downslope. The snowboarder stopped before a group of small trees and was unburied and unharmed.
