Observations

Skinned up the "Far East" area mid-morning very difficult travel conditions due to heavy snow and ongoing storm. Dug to the ground in an area with about 85 cm total depth. I observed a well set in crust at about 40 cm from the bottom, harder than 1 finger. The rest of the snow appeared relatively consistent to the surface. Decided not to continue to the top due to difficult travel conditions and avalanche hazards
