HarrisAbout 5-8" of new snow atop a freezing rain crust depending on deposition. New snow included some graupel and had little wind effect and was well-bonded to the crust in the NTL. Winds increased to light-moderate by evening with transport observed on Hemispheres. Rain crust is supportable on skis--hardly noticeable except at lower elevations ~4100'--but not supportable for booting. Light-heavy showers throughout the day with hints of blue between. In those periods of visibility we could see no evidence of recent slides.
