Observations

Much of the snow on E facing slopes (NE/E/SE) was holding on, but other aspects had been largely decimated by this week's Pineapple Express/rains.

Ran into pockets of wet loose snow trying to consolidate around Kachess Ridge (the high point) and Hard Cheese, as well as the saddle between the Kachess Ridge and Hard Cheese, but it was <1' deep. Lower Sasse Ridge, Howson, and Hex were pretty much snow free (seen from Hard Knox). Did not wander down towards French Cabin Mountain since I didn't have floatation (snowshoes) or the time. Temps were in the low to mid 40s, it was sprinkling, and it was a bit windy: 5~15mph sustained, with 20~25mph gusts.
