Signs of Unstable Snow

Did you see shooting cracks?
Yes, Isolated
Did you experience collapsing or whumpfing?
No

Observations

About 4-6" of new snow starting at 4700' from the storm on the night of 11/22. The day was rapidly warming and causing rollerballs as early as 9am. We had some isolated shooting cracks in wind loaded areas but ultimately there's not much snow up there in general. As noted by NWAC, our greatest dangers came from the thin snowpack as we cross boulder fields and creeks.
