40 degree N/NE facing slope, with wind/rain affected snow. Classic early season cemented conditions. Point release/impact zone triggered by rock fall from cliff above in combination with warming from previous days.

Small release, not enough snow to bury but could have knocked rider/skier off balance and a fall would have high consequences into exposed boulder field.
