October 30th 2021. Toured up to Blue Lake from Cascade Pass, snow depth at trailhead "17. Once into the Blue Lake basin, snow depth variable, 20-35 inches. Lots of wind loading and crust from overnight freeze. Up at Blue Col Peak ridgeline there was more wind loading and a few cornices. Great snow with minimal wind loading and crust from blue col down to copper pass! Minimal rocks exposed throughout that run. Small avalanches seen on the southwest slopes throughout the tour.
