Comments:
There were a number of loose wet avalanches on the steep east aspects of Monitor Ridge during the day today. They ran considerable distances, but seemed to only involve the top inch or 2 of snow without stepping down to deeper layers.

Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Very warm temps (50-60F), blue skies, and the wind died about noon. The slopes with slides were baking in the sun.
