Observations
We found a similar situation to the MSH report on May 10 regarding people greatly underestimating how far back the crater rim cornice goes. Looking back from the summit we saw many people out on the cornice, and when we got back to the bench we found approx 20+ people standing in the danger zone we had just observed. We let them know they were standing on the cornice, and most people moved back.
