Observations

3 am start at worm flow winter TH, rainy and above freezing temps with very sloppy wet snow at the base. Rain turned to snow and snow quality firmed around 3900 ft. At least 4 inches of fresh snow at the summit with a couple icy wind affected snow patches around 8100 ft below the summit. Weather ranged from rain at lower elevations in the morning, to light snow showers, clouds and sunshine mid and upper mountain elevations. Light wind at the summit.

Snow quality became much heavier and sticky after about 10:30 AM. We didn't see any avalanches happening, but there were signs of cornices melting, with large cracks above, and debris slides below. Nearly all observations were on eastern facing aspects.
