The large slab avalanche occurred in two parts: lower/climber's right section before our first observation at 12:52 pm, upper/climbers left section between 12:52 pm and when we reached Baldy summit at 1:25 pm. There was also a large loose/wet slide a little further to climber's left on the same slope.

Clear sky, 61 F at the trailhead (3,200 ft) at 9:30 am. Upper 50s F at Baldy summit (6,800 ft) at 1:00 pm with light/variable breeze. Hiked Baldy Trail to East Baldy and then traversed the ridge to Baldy.
