Observations

Heavy wet surface snow of varying depth (3-24") above the most recent crust. Traveled between 0930 and 1430 during which time it was mostly overcast. Sun tried to come out a bit, was not successful in breaking the clouds but we could feel the solar radiation. Most of the day was like being inside a very bright ping pong ball. Lots of pinwheels and tree bombs. Almost no wind. Signs of water in the upper snowpack (runnels and the like). One small slide seen on Narada Face, looked like it starts at a ski cut.

More moisture fell from the trees than the sky during our tour.
