Observations

Off Mazama ridge going into the bowl we triggered a small wet slab that ran 70ft. It ran on the crust formed the previous night. Weather on Sunday, included periods of heavy snow -during the time we were out, over 5-6 inches of new snow fell over a 4-5 hour period- while temperatures slight rose - the morning temperatures were around 32 degrees F. The slope angle was just above 30 degrees. Prior to descending the slop we ski cut at the top to test for stability which produced no results.
