Observations

Human triggered wet loose avalanche on 4/15 at 4:30pm on ~38° NW slope on Ted’s Buttress in Bullion Basin. More sun and warming throughout the day than anticipated led to a D1 wet loose avalanche being triggered when making a turn. Avalanche traveled very slowly, but for around 40 meters and reached 6+ meters wide. Calf to knee high at most.
