Signs of Unstable Snow

None reported

Observations

Mostly lighter and dry snow but wind blown at all elevations, ranging in depth from a few inches to 8 or so inches as we ascended from Timberline to the Devil’s Kitchen. Snow felt well consolidated, and was a fun ski down! Saw no evidence of recent avalanches. Very cold temperatures in the morning, and no wind to light (5-10mph) winds around 7am. Sun came out and temperatures rose quickly, clear skies!
