Observations

Mt Herman, east face. Accurate wether forecast, apart from short glimpses of light sunshine. Temperatures stayed just under freezing . Light snowfall. Did bot do tests. Did not see any avalanches in the area. Could not trigger any wind slabs ourselves, but observed one 20m wide windslab triggered by another team while skiing. The slide was very short and did not pose a danger in itself.

Windslab triggered by skiers. East aspect. Tried to release more snow from the edge, unsuccesfully. Did not slide further than edge of the picture. Close to heater meadows base area, Mt Baker.
