Observations

We traveled on north, west, and east aspects b/t 3-5k. It was fairly easy to move surface sluffs on steeper terrain, but below 35 degrees snow was more stubborn to move. While transitioning for a 2nd lap on avalanche, several waves of sluff were pushed down from riders above. I was safely positioned behind a tree, but sluff moved fast and easily deposited 2-3 ft of debris on top of my skis. After establishing contact with them, their group traversed over to give us some space.
