Observations

Were on route to wright mountain/mo trees area. Dug a pit on the way before going up chair peak basin to go toward snow lake divide approach. Southeast aspect. Many layers failed on column test as uneven breaks, would not slide . Hard tap 6 caused a sudden planar break about 60cm down. Proceeded with propagation test with no propagation results.

Proceeded to snowlake. Half group went down the skin approach and I and another went down to short chute just a lil north to it and I set off a small avalanche. Propagated in front of me and swept me onto my butt and rode it like a conveyor belt before managing to get up and riding with the rest of it down into snow lake. Turned around went home.

Snow was great, visibility was tough at times.
