Observations

A hiker reported crossing a large few days old debris pile when going over a drainage at 2.8k’ with steep banks along the Welcome Pass Trail. It looked like it was D2-D2.5 in size, but it’s hard to tell.
The hiker also posted some pictures of what looked like Welcome Butte with D1 wet loose debris on a E/NE aspect.
Pictures from their trip report are attached: https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/trip-reports/trip_report.2023-03-22.7771602293 .
