Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Deeper snow on the Reid Glacier bench, approximately shin to knee deep. Good travel conditions in Leuthold Couloir, varying between styrofoam and boot-top. A bit punchy in areas due to wind affect. No reactivity observed (no wumphing, settling, shooting cracks, etc.). Quick hand shear did not have sudden release, slab not very cohesive. Firm skiiable conditions from Hogsback to Timberline.
