Observations

Skied ruby mountain leaving the car at 9:40 AM. Snow was firm below 6,000 feet and skinning was more difficult in open sections. In the trees the snow was softer, but everything was very stable. Above 6,000 there was great riding powder. Wind affect was noticeable above 6,700 to arm of Ruby, but was minimal as the many tracks from this weekend were still visible. Dropped at 3:40. Riding down we triggered a small soft slab on a steep slope at ~6,500 above the chutes. Then there was some sun affect and crust 5 to 6,000 making riding difficult. Below that was hard in the open and soft in the trees.
