Observations

My group and another group dug a few column tests at the base of North Twin’s north face, above tree line before the slope angle dramatically increases. Tests done at 1:15pm. Both groups separately found a 2-4” slab layer above graupel that cracked on 3rd swing from elbow on compression test and fully slid at 1st swing from shoulder. Chose to descend after compression test and not venture further up the face. Lots of wind loading surface features noted on north face.
