Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Variety of snow surfaces in the morning from thick crust on sun slopes to dry packed powder in the shade. Stepping out of my skis resulted in boot top to knee deep steps. Huge solid tree bombs from the day before all over. Around 1130 the snow started falling from trees in a hurry and started glomping onto the skins. Skied north facing slope and in thick cold snow that didn't move under any hard turns.
