As I descended from a high point, a 15’ shooting crack come off the tip of my ski and a wind slab broke beneath me. It was roughly 3-4 inches deep and broke apart as it slid. On the same aspect, my partner triggered a small dry loose that was about 4 feet wide and ran 200 feet.

We performed hand/pole shears with unremarkable results. We tried to avoid terrain that looked like it experienced wind loading. We witnessed a lot of snow transport from wind at and above treeline.
