Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Shooting cracks, 6-8" soft slab, intentionally triggered on SE aspect of windy ridge. Wind was southeasterly? at the time depositing new snow onto northish side of slope. Massive wind drifts, deep heavy snow. Soft slab had 8-10" crown, propagated 8-10 across, slope angle approx 35 degrees. Quick hand pit tests were frequent throughout the day.
