Signs of Unstable Snow

Observations

Sky obscured, tem.24, wind light and variable, east aspect, elevation 5700. A pit and column test revealed a right side up snow pack, ski penetration ~ 12cm, there was a discontinuity at 40 cm probably the base of this last storm cycle. Some sloughing on steeper turns, but localized.
