Comments:
See photo. Recent D2.5 observed from a distance on Snow Lake. Wide propagation, probably 80-90cm thick and 50-60m wide, could not see debris. I've skied this terrain feature a few times and it terminates in twin fingers chutes typically capped by blobby cornices - cornice trigger seems likely. Surprised it was not observed yesterday so maybe it occurred overnight?

Skied the Cache Couloir via Chair's E basin and upper N slope, exiting back over Snow Lake Divide and out via Source Lake by 1045am. Cloudy and obscured to start giving way to partly sunny skies, warming temps and increasing E ridgetop winds. Good stability observed with the one large slab mentioned below being the only notable avalanche observation. Skied very low angle terrain features on the N slope, avoiding wind affect near ridgecrest and small convexities mid slope. Very good stability in the Cache Couloir with no cracking in the entrance and minimal sloughing. Did not appear to have been skied recently. Spotty 4-5mm surface hoar deposited overnight from valley to ridgecrest.
