Observations

Moderate dry, loose sluff released on N aspects at 5200 at beginning of descent to Cache couloir. Dry slab on N aspects easily becoming unconsolidated sluff at ridgeline. Saw surface hoar to 3-4mm on snowfield above Cache. Dropped into Cache with more sluff coming down the couloir D1R1. Many hand pits were mostly showing nonconsolidated low density.

Weak sun crust on E face of Roosevelt at 4000-4600.
