See pictures for context. Soft wind slab was triggered below a cornice on suprisingly low angle slope at treeline by first skiier in party. Slab was 8"-10" deep at the initiation point, and shallower at other points. Slab propagated the entire length of the cornice. Estimated 10 ft x 30 ft break zone. See pictures below.
