Observations

Group acknowledged we were stepping into steeper terrain compared to our first few laps in swift creek. We had identified the steeper roll in the slope we planned to ski and the first skier planned to make a left turn/ ski cut as they approached. The slough from their cut started slow but propagated uphill to skies right (see photo). After gathering speed and extra storm snow on the way down the slough became fairly sizable and was moving fast by the bottom.
