Skinned out to Wright Mountain and skied mostly North-facing trees on the backside. Noticed Widespread wind effected snow, and wind slabs were common, especially on E to NE slopes. These slabs were generally stubborn, but we did observe cracking in places (photo attached). Our northerly decent was mostly soft snow, with some wind-hardened pockets mixed in, mostly above and near treeline. No discernable bottom up high, but could definitely feel the crust underneath the soft surface snow when skiing below maybe 4200-4500 ft. Warming temps led to some tree shedding and S slopes ended up crusty as we were returning late in the day.
