Overall the snow quality in protected areas was still good. We observed significant wind transport and wind affect on the snow (sastrugi etc). On NE aspects I observed pockets of wind slabs of varying sizes between 5800’ and 6200’. I was able to intentionally release a harmless pocket (not much wider than a ski length and 1-2”. The other larger avalanche had likely ran overnight or during the day.
