Not surprisingly nearly everything in the pass shows signs of major wind affect after the recent storm cycle. This lead to variable skiing conditions traveling between patches of wind scour, punchy slabs, and fluffy powder. Overall stability seems to have greatly improved from the widespread slab failure reports from yesterday. We observed an intermittent, punchy, breakable surface layer on a variety of aspects throughout the day, but test slopes were un-reactive and the only sign of instability we saw was short (<5’) shooting cracks in a few isolated locations.
