Avalanche was pretty wide but shallow. It went a long ways, 700 ft. And could have hit the trees.

Ran 800 ft, and the skier ran 400 ft and deployed an airbag. Estimate D2, shallow but really wide. Shallow soft slab.

We heard whumpfing throughout the day. We saw slabbing on certain degree slopes when skinning up and it was able to slide.
