Observations

Overcast and lightly snowing in the morning. By 11am it became partly sunny. Solar aspects had trees shedding snow, some small roller balls and loose wet releases. Snow from the storms during the past week had consolidated and was about 50cm deep in most areas where we traveled. We saw evidence of old storm and wind slab avalanches, most were already filled in again from snow and wind loading.
Great riding conditions and lovely to see the sun!

Media

Natural dry loose release.
Almost filled in crown from earlier in the storm cycle. This area in particular had a fair amount of wind loading (NW aspects, ~4300ft).
Mostly covered debris from old avalanche. We suspect it may have been caused by a cornice failure (NE aspect, 5400ft).
